I have been practicing Transcendental Meditation since 1971, and I also learned a few other meditation and breathing techniques for the express purpose of comparison, and knowledge. It is my opinion that meditation is the single most powerful means of expanding conscious awareness and raising consciousness than any other technique I know of. There are many different forms of meditation and yoga, which I endeavour to explain in this book, all of which can lead one to greater happiness, well-being and fulfilment.
